Below Ground Waterproofing

Description

This Below Ground Waterproofing CPD aims to provide specifiers of structural waterproofing systems with guidance on how to achieve a successful waterproofing strategy for basement structures.

The seminar covers the design process, how to adhere to BS 8102:2022, key points for consideration during the specification phase, waterproofing grades and overview of material types for Type A, B and C waterproofing systems.

By the end of this CPD delegates should:

1. Understand the key items to consider during the design phase.

2. Be aware of BS 8102:2022 requirements and recommendations.

3. Understand waterproofing grades and criteria.

4. Obtain an introduction to common material types used for basement waterproofing.

5. Understand Type A, B and C waterproofing systems and how they are installed on site.
