FAAC Entrance Solutions UK
There are so many building standards, it can be confusing at times not just for Architects, but also the wider market. So how do we specify the correct one?
Whilst Secured by Design (SBD) and PAS 24 seem to be the go to standard, is this really the correct application. Other standards which relate to the automatic door industry include Part Q, LPS1175, EN1627, STS202 & NPSA.
With so many accreditations, this CPD will help you to ensure that the correct standard is being used for the correct building type.
By the end of this CPD, delegates should:
1. Understand all security rated standards for automatic doors rather than awareness.
2. Have more confidence with which standard to apply to their building type.
3. Know what testing methods are used for each standard.
4. Have guidance on PAS24, Part Q, LPS1175, EN1627, STS202, NPSA and SbD.
5. Know how each standard compares with each other.
