This CPD covers the British Standards “BS 8102 2022 - Code of practice for protection of below ground structures against water ingress". It will discuss all the aspects of below ground waterproofing required to ensure a successful design and installation. Topics covered include Design responsibility, the types of waterproofing materials available, the grades that the structure must conform to, remedial measures in the context of a failure, and Heath and Safety requirements. The presentation will also include a case study. By the end of the CPD you should have a greater understanding of: 1. The British Standard 8102 2022 and other industry related guidance. 2.
