This CPD shows the types of products and what the differences mean to a specifier. It highlights key factors to look for within a Fire Certificate, to ensure your chosen material has been correctly tested and the Fire Certificate is valid for its intended use. It will also familiarise you with the relevant sections of the Construction Products Regulations and the UK Building Regulations to ensure your materials meet BS EN15102 product performance requirements and explain the relevance of a declaration of performance and an approved CE or UKCA Mark. By the end of this CPD you should: - • Be able to identify the key factors and what to look for in terms of Fire Classification BS EN13501 • Be aware or the regulatory requirements under BS EN15012 Construction Products Regulations • Understand the correlation between the harmonised European Standards and the UK Building Regulation • Recognise the importance of a Declaration of Performance and CE/UKCA Marking • Have an awareness of the different product types and their compliance. • Be able to confidently specify Digitally Printed Materials, suitable for Commercial and Residential Interiors This CPD can be delivered to in-person at your practice or remotely
