This CPD explores the key classifications of glass and the essential testing processes behind them. You’ll gain insight into HSE background and statistics, CWCT glass classifications, Class 0,1,2 and 3 standards, and the fragility tests defined in the Advisory Committee for Roof Safety’s (ACR) Red Book (ACR [M] 001). 

By the end of the session, you’ll have a clearer understanding of: 

• Industry statistics and why safety is critical when specifying glass for rooflights.
• The various rooflight specifications: TN66, TN67, and TN92.
• The difference between Class 0,1,2, and 3 glass classifications.
• When and how TN92 should be applied.
