Human Conscious Design Principles

Human Conscious Design Principles is a dedicated CPD to support designing for neurodivergence. By the end of the seminar you will have a better understanding on what the term neurodiversity means, the neurodiversity movement and how neurodivergences can impact our daily lives. The CPD will then look at some of the guidance and legislation that has been published which you can refer to in order to support your decision making. Based on the guidance and our own research into Human Conscious design, the CPD then explores the built environment and how to design it for neuro-inclusion, topics covered include: the building position and layout, wayfinding and signage, transitions, acoustics, lighting, fixtures, fittings and furniture, floor finishes, air quality, the impact of colour choice and the importance of quiet rooms.
