Knauf Ceilings Factory Tour

Description

A visit to and tour of the factory in Germany to see methods and production of ceiling tiles.

By the end of the tour, participants will be able to:

- Create better acoustic environments within their designs, utilising the acoustic knowledge gained.

- Have a better understanding of how to provide fire protection using a suspended ceiling and the current UK fire legislation.

- Specify specific projects with knowledge of the latest developments and possibilities and understand the limitations involved.

- Understand the environmental issues concerned with suspended ceilings.

- Realise the possibilities with aesthetics and have the inspiration to create new ideas.

This tour is generally by invitation only, although applications from interested architects will be considered.
