This CPD introduces the idea of the Living Campus: a vision on higher education campus design that looks at the needs placemaking and purposeful settings, as well as design trends we are seeing globally. This presentation focuses on considerations that will help you as you design spaces to best support the needs of tomorrow. Topics covered include how spaces impact learning outcomes, design considerations for social, learning and working environments, considerations for analysing the effects of design on students and the five elements of student experience. By the end of the presentation you should have a greater understanding of: - How to challenge traditional learning space design norms - How to better design to support the current needs of students - How design impacts Wellbeing - How design impacts learning Outcomes - How design impacts the overall student and faculty experience This CPD can be delivered to you live and remotely.
