This CPD discusses the risks associated with flat roof design across specification and application. In particular, it addresses hot works associated with the installation of built up roofing systems. It will discuss how these risks can be reduced by implementing safe design practices; safe specification and application methods. The presentation also addresses the recent changes to regulations as a result of the Hackitt report following the Grenfell tragedy.
