At the end of this presentation, you should be able to:
1. Explain how slab moisture can damage floor coverings and the solution for this.
2. Identify the preparation needed for a concrete slab to provide the correct planeness, smoothness and soundness for textile and resilient floor finishes.
3. Recognise why sand and cement screed is not deemed suitable as an underlayment for floor finishes and the alternative to this.
