The presentation informs the audience of the many different types of resin flooring available for both commercial and industrial areas and identifies the appropriate specification criteria when considering this type of finish. Reference is made to Ferfa (Federation of Resin Flooring Applicators) standards, system categories and industry guidance. Suitable substrates and their preparation, product types, Building Regulation Approved Documents, consideration of the Equality Act 2010, slip resistance, fire regulations, LRV's and repair/maintenance criteria are all discussed. The safety and well-being of applicators and building occupants with reference to BREEAM, LEED v4 and EPD's. (Environmental Product Declarations) are included. Case studies are provided with opportunity to discuss the systems with the presenter. By the end of this CPD, delegates should: 1.
