Each stage will walk the designer through the correct approach starting with understanding what is causing the flat roof to fail. This will look at determining the problem through a roof survey, the different problems that can cause a roof to fail and how to find out the extent of the damage.

The CPD will then look at how different elements on the roof will impact on how to approach the refurbishment project before looking at the entire build up design from the deck to the membrane.
