This Roof Revolution CPD provides an in-depth look at how we can unlock the full potential of our flat roof spaces. The presentation will take participants through the design considerations for Green, Blue, and Photovoltaic rooftop technologies. To fully optimise the roof, it is important to consider both the surface finishes, and the make-up of the roof system itself, in order to ensure a robust waterproofing solution. The aim is to use the roof as a tool for reducing the energy demand of the building, unlocking the potential for energy generation, increasing biodiversity and enabling better water management. The CPD will explore the latest technologies and systems that can be used to enhance the performance of roofs, as well as best practices for their installation and maintenance. Participants will have a thorough understanding of how to incorporate sustainable roof solutions into their design projects and the benefits of doing so.
