Solid Surfaces for Offices and Workspaces

Description

This CPD aims to teach how solid surfaces can be used in office and workspace environments to create practical and functional spaces, whilst at the same time allowing individuality in design. The use of lighting and the thermoforming along with other fabrication techniques can enhance designs and user experience. We cover reception desking, tea points, office kitchens and washrooms, along with wall panelling and other furniture items. By the end of this CPD seminar, delegates should have: 1. Learnt how Solid Surfacing is manufactured and what it is made of. 2. Understood fabrication techniques explained and how to use this to turn your designs into reality. 3. Seen the different finishes, patterns, and possibilities. including backlighting and thermoforming. 4. Seen a variety inspiring images of real-life applications. 5. Gained practical advice on what can be achieved.
