This short course available in person or via webinar will assist specifiers in ensuring high quality sanitary sealants are used, reducing the likelihood of mould growth and leakage. Key topics include; sealants and why we use them, mould growth and correct application of a sealant. In addition sealant legislation and standards are discussed and the content will provide detail on choosing the right sealant. By the end of this CPD seminar, delegates should be able to: 1. Reduce the liklihood of mould development by design. 2. Acknowledge the correct legislation for sanitary sealants. 3. Understand the different performances available within the standard. 4. Understand the best sealant shape for sanitary sealants. 5. Differentiate between sealant technologies including acetoxy silicone, neutral silicone and hybrids.
