This CPD is a guide to specifiying linoleum and its aim is to provide an understanding of the environmental and performance benefits of linoleum, as well as look at the design opportunities of the material within the built environment. By the end of the CPD you should have a greater understanding of: - what linoleum is, how it is made and the benefits it offers to the environment and people's health and well being. - how linoleum is assessed under a variety of recognised building schemes and how it contributes to the built environment under each one - the performance benefits of linoleum and its relevance to a variety of application areas - the design flexibility of linoleum in its varying formats - how linoleum is installed and maintained over its lifetime
